A little bit about me

I started photography in the early 70s after I had broken my ankle playing hockey. Since I couldn’t play, I photographed our pond hockey games with an old medium format folding camera of my dad’s. We had a makeshift darkroom in our basement where I developed and printed the black and white images. Since that time, I have had an on again off again relationship with photography. Life has a way of redirecting your interests sometimes. Over the past several years I have renewed my focus on this art form.
I look to create images that invoke a feeling or mood, tell a story, or maybe bring back a memory.
I hope you enjoy them.
